About
MAIA is building the automation layer that lets independent medical practices keep their workflow and their EHR, and just offload the paperwork. We focus exclusively on administrative work: prior authorization, medical coding, clinical note drafting, fax triage, and patient communication. Clinical decision-making stays with the clinician, every time.
The average US primary care physician spends roughly two hours on administrative and EHR work for every hour of direct patient care. That ratio is a root cause of physician burnout, practice consolidation, and declining access to care. MAIA is building the automation layer that lets independent and small-group practices survive and thrive without hiring more back-office staff or selling to a hospital system.
We focus exclusively on the administrative side. MAIA does not diagnose, does not prescribe, and does not practice medicine. Every clinically meaningful output is reviewed and approved by a credentialed clinician before it reaches a patient, a payer, or the chart.
Independent and small-to-mid-size group practices in the United States: physicians (MD, DO), nurse practitioners (NP), physician assistants (PA), and the administrative staff who keep those practices running. We are built for practices that want to keep their workflow and their EHR and just offload the paperwork.
MAIA is founded by clinicians and engineers with backgrounds across medicine, healthcare operations, and production AI systems. Credential details, clinical specialty areas, and advisory-board listings are available on request during onboarding conversations. We take E-E-A-T (experience, expertise, authoritativeness, trustworthiness) seriously for a healthcare product and expect to earn it by shipping reliable tools.
Limited early access is open to private practices in the United States.
