Is MAIA HIPAA compliant?
Yes. MAIA is built HIPAA-aware and offers a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) for covered entities. See our Privacy Policy and BAA template for full details on safeguards, breach notification, and subcontractor obligations.
Which EHR systems does MAIA work with?
MAIA integrates with Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, and Medplum via FHIR APIs and a secure EHR connector that handles older systems without modern APIs. Other EHRs can be added during onboarding.
When will I get access to MAIA?
MAIA is currently in limited early access. After you submit the waitlist form, our team will reach out personally to discuss your practice's workflow and schedule onboarding.
What does MAIA cost?
MAIA uses a credit-based billing model - practices pay for the automated tasks completed (prior auths submitted, codes generated, notes drafted, faxes routed, patient calls handled). Specific pricing is shared during your onboarding conversation.

MAIA is designed for independent and group medical practices in the United States - physicians (MD, DO), nurse practitioners (NP), and physician assistants (PA) - who want to reduce administrative burden without changing their EHR or workflow.
